Figure

A name tag in the center, surrounded by a figure to represent what,
a tree to represent how, a turtle to represent who and why and a target and clock to represent where and when.

Annotate

  1. ^Write it down.  ^Focus on ^What it is ^Good for as we ^Give it:
    1. A ~name~ at the ^Top.
    2. A ~target~ at the ^Bottom.
  2. ^Develop it.
    1. ^Name it.
    2. ^Figure to ^Aid in our ~exploration~ and to ^Enhance ^How we ^Learn.
    3. ^Annotate ^How it ~works~.
    4. Subject: ^Who does it; ^Why it is problematic, urgent or important; ^What does it do or ^What is its ^Benefit.
    5. ^Target: the ~minimum~ detail to ^Know ^When and ^Where it may ^Happen or its general applicability.
  3. ^Consider as we ^Develop it.
    1. ^Name-or-express each ^Concept in ~relation~ to it and ^Grant it its ~own~ context.
    2. ^DRY-KISS to ^Find the ^Turtles.
    3. ^Develop it in ~parts~ freely anywhere but ^Move them to ^Where they ^Belong.
  4. Do ^Enough on our ~own~ ~first~.  Then ^Explore, ^Counsel or ^Fail.

Subject

^FAST is an acronym for ^Figure, ^Annotate, ^Subject and ^Target.  It is a pattern to capture concepts and modes of our ^Mind or of our world.

For those ^Who ^Want to ^Look with ^More ^Care at ^What they already ^Know.  We reference other concepts to describe a ^Concept.

Target

Anytime we ^Need to ^Make a thorough ~expression~ of a ^Concept.  We ^Create it to ^Give it to our ~self~, our ~family~ or others ~long-term~ so ^Write it with a new audience in ~mind~.
