Modes of ^Boundary

Nice guys finish ^Last… until they ^Learn to ^Fortify themselves.  In other words, nice guys finish ^Last until they ^Learn that it's ^Okay to be not ^Okay, and it's nice not to be nice!

And we cannot ^Know ^How to ^Defend against ~evil~ nor ^See within ourselves its supports while we ^Let it ^Remain ~unknown~ to others or our world.  We ^Need walls to stand against ~weather~ and similar threats to our ~safety~ and comfort.  After we ^Win-or-lose hard battles we ^Want to ^Sustain and ^Protect ourselves against the attacks of time and other enemies.

The modes of ^Boundary ^Help us reject or repel a ^Force in our world for our ~betterment~.  They include ^Harm, ^Hope, ^Judge, ^Refine, ^Surprise, ^Unknown and ^Worry.

If we ^Never ^Fortify ourselves, many activities in ~life~ ~become~ sandcastles.  At times exceptionally ~beautiful~ and very temporary.  We ^Want some (not ~all~) things in this ~life~ to be temporary, for it may ^Give our ~life~ the ~joy~ of greater ~variety~.  It may ^Inspire us to ^Take ^More of a ^Chance each time to ^Renew it and then we ^Find ^More ^Benefit ~long-term~ thereby.  Impermanence may ^Serve to ^Encourage and ^Magnify our ^Agency: to ^Choose ^Regularly, to ^Seek a ^Space of ^Trust and to have a world for which we ^Care.

Eventually, to the extent that every enemy, even time, becomes a friend, ^Let's not ^Build walls that we cannot tear down nor lock any door until we ^Consider ^Who may ^Hold keys to it ~now~ or ~later~.

^All that said, although I do not have a remarkable ^Talent to send ^Evil against itself, I will ^Commit to ^Keep a few concepts particularly.  Most strongly, I ^Commit to ^Say ^No.  I will have to be really stubborn and ^Say, if there's one thing I'm not ^Grateful for, it's (in-)~gratitude~.  And honestly I've had ~enough~ with paranoia and ^Fear, so from ^Now and onward I will mistrust ~all~ my (mis-)~trust~.  Yet in ~all~ this I will ^Become entrenched firmly against ~all~ my stubbornness.  We can ^Start today!  Join me if you like or ^Hide behind the wall.  It's a ~choice~ you can ^Make too.  May it ever be ours to so to do.
