Subject
^Tempt is a mode of ^Agency that is a necessary ~evil~ along our ^PATH. Often, ~temptation~ may ^Cause or ^Affect our current distortions and our ~ability~ to ^Navigate them. Distortions and ~weakness~ ^Give ~strength~ to ~temptation~ and vice versa. This may ^Come quite naturally sometimes, so it may ^Take ~patience~ and ~practice~ to ^Overcome.
This ^Concept may ^Prove difficult to ^Manage and a ^Restorer of it often must obscure or conflate ^Parts of our ^Agency and thereby we ^Win-or-lose our ~desire~ for it despite ourselves. Yet we could ^Think of it as something we ^Choose.
^When we have three or ^More options then a ~temptation~ may ^Win-or-lose ~more~ easily with an ~individually~ ~STRONG~ ~signal~. We may ^Refuse ~temptation~ or ^Swap it for ~daily-self-care~ as a ~first~ resort. And then once we ^Refuse we can ^Mind to ^Choose among the ~good~ only so that we may ^Block and (re-)^Direct the energy of it elsewhere.
^When our ~memories~ ^Persist the ~temptation~ in some ~way~ then to ^Divide as a means to ^Forget it may ^Maximize the power of the ~temptation~. So in ~mirror~ we ^Train our ~memories~ to ^Attach to the ~consequence~ rather than its ~reward~ or ~lack~, so we do not ^Deceive ourselves. ^When we do so we ^Model the ~temptation~ in our ^Mind ^More accurately for ^Better ~results~. In ~summary~, instead of ^Try to ^Ignore it, we may ^Shift the ^Focus of the ~memories~ onto the bigger ~picture~.
Target
A necessary ~evil~ and unavoidable on our ~PATH~. We invite it anytime we ^Forget to ^Care for ourselves and others. It may ^Come anytime we ^Forget to ^Care for a ~weakness~ or ^Forget to ^Use a ~strength~ in ourselves. It may ^Come anytime to ^Cause us to ^Abuse or neglect our ~mind~ or a ^Foundation to which we ^Belong.
